Daniel G Opperwall is an Orthodox Christian writer, creator, and academic based in Hamilton, Ontario. His work runs the gamut from academic essays, to spiritual non-fiction, to children's and young adult fiction and poetry. Along with Greg Wiebe, he is also the creator of the Men Among Demons podcast.

Daniel teaches Orthodox theology and Church history in the Faculty of Divinity at Trinity College, University of Toronto. He and his wife and three children are founding member of St Maria of Paris Orthodox Mission in Hamilton.
